Because trees are the lungs of our earth. My favorite subject of photography and painting is nature, specifically the trees. Far too many trees are felled, protected too little. Painting is my way of putting them in the picture

  • bio: Painter & photographer. The realization why we choose a certain image when painting is not always clear and often only comes afterwards. A painting needs time to 'mature' and evolves with the painter and his time. It is more a search for accuracy than for beauty. The accuracy of the image can be altered. What is considered 'beautiful' is relative and not always interesting. STIEN MiGNAUW
